Humana was founded by lawyers in 1961. The name then was Extendicare, Inc. They changed the name to Humana in 1974 to replace the public’s perception from “warehousing” or an indifferent treatment of people. They wanted to transform that view into one that provides a higher-level of human care, hence the Humana name emerged. It is now giving a more humane care to the people.
This company continues to maintain a standard of service that is meticulous to the benefits of their members. All of their employees are working hard to keep these standards. This has given them several awards for their business practices, services, and products.
Humana Pharmacy gives your health a personal approach because they strongly believe that the minutest of details matter to them. Their people preserve and process your prescription needs with the thoughtfulness and convenience that you deserve. They do not sacrifice your well-being, secrecy, comfort, satisfaction or your health.
