MyChart offers patients a personalized approach and a safe and secure access to portions of their medical charts online.  It enables a patient to securely use the net to assist in managing and receiving information about their health.

It is currently being offered to the patients of Mount Sinai Hospital to enable them to securely access their account.  This provides the patients access to information and make create changes as well as make requests.

Easy-to-follow steps are provided below whether you are a new customer or patient and is looking to access the login or registration page.  A brief guide is available for you so you can discover how you can login or activate a new online account and gain access.  Just make sure your personal information is close by.

Easy steps to follow for NEW patients and need to create and register a new account online:

  1. Visit https://mychart.mountsinai.org/mychart/ in your preferred search engine on your device.
  2. Select the “Activate Your Account” link.
  3. Select the “Register Now” link.
  4. Type in your Name in the space provided.
  5. Type in your Date of Birth in the space provided.
  6. Select your gender.
  7. Type in your Account Number in the space provided.
  8. Type in an Email Address in the space provided.
  9. Type in a Mailing Address in the space provided.
  10. Type in a Contact Number in the space provided.
  11. Create and type in a user name in the space provided.
  12. Provide the “Provider” information.
  13. Select the “Next” button to continue forward.
  14. Proceed to move forward and provide all the necessary information.
  15. Complete the registration for you online account and start paying doctor bills online.

Easy steps to follow for patients with an EXISTING account online:

  1. Visit https://mychart.mountsinai.org in your preferred search engine on your device.
  2. Type in your MyChart Username and Password in the space provided.
  3. Select the “SIGN IN” button and begin managing your hospital online account.
  4. Verify that all your personal and account details are correct. If not, contact customer service to have it corrected.

Video Visit Quick Guide:

  1. Type in “MyChart” in your App store & download or download from link http://mountsinai.rx.health/mychart
  2. Search for Mount Sinai as your healthcare provider and login.
  3. Select “Appointments” → “eCheck-In” and review all sections. When done, a green video camera icon will appear and you can then open your appointment.
  4. Select “Begin Visit” to connect to your video visit.

Video Visit TIPS:

  • All billing & insurance information will be validated when scheduling your appointment.
  • You must have an active MyChart account.
  • Use your smartphone/iPad & wearing headphones to increase the audio quality of your video visit.
  • Login to the MyChart App 15-20 MINUTES before to your scheduled time so that you can fill out the eCheck-In (verify personal info) portion of your visit.
