This medical company provides short-term post-acute, rehabilitation, skilled nursing as well as long-term care services.  Their history dates back to 1985 in Zanesville, Ohio with Michael R. Walker and Richard R. Howard who grew the organization from $32 million to a $2.4 billion public company by acquiring nursing homes and services that further improve their facility.

Genesis Healthcare System is an integrated health care delivery system with a wide network of over 300 physicians and multiple outpatient care centers in the entire region.  They provide an advanced level of service that what is always found in a community of its size.  They provide open-heart surgery, trauma care, level II neonatal intermediate care unit, neurosurgery, and comprehensive care services to name a few.  This level of care has established Genesis as a primary referral center for much of the region.

On that note, Genesis Healthcare System is now offering their patients an access to MyChart.  This is a service that is free of charge and patients can manage their health and get access their records through an app or online with the use of their computers.

• Pay your bill online or through the app.

Easy-to-follow steps are provided below should you feel the need to access the login or registration page.  A brief guide is available for you so you can discover how you can login or activate a new online account and gain access.

1. Visit: www.mychart.genesishcs.org or https://mychart.genesishcs.org on your device.
2. Select the “SIGN UP NOW” button found under the “New User?” section.
3. Provide the Activation Code you were provided.
4. Provide the Social Security Number of the patient in the space provided.
5. Provide the Date of Birth of the patient on file.
6. Select the “Next” button to continue forward.
7. Proceed to move forward and provide all the necessary information to complete the registration.
8. Select the “Next” button to move forward.
9. Be sure to verify that all the patient’s information is correct before submitting to avoid issues.

If you do not have an activation code, you may go here if you wish to submit a request for a new activation code.  Genesis Healthcare System will send a new activation code if you have lost it, have let it expire, does not work, or never received any.

4. Be sure to verify that all personal information is correct.  Otherwise, contact customer service to correct it.

2. Provide the Guarantor Account Number & Last Name  in the spaces provided.
3. Select the “SIGN IN” button and begin managing your account online.
4. Make sure to verify that your account details are correct each time you make a payment online for your billing account. If you see any issues, please contact customer service.

If you wish to download the app, just select the app that is applicable to the device that you are using.

To access MyChart, you must create an account with your healthcare organization. To sign up for an account, download the app and search for your healthcare organization or go to your healthcare organization’s MyChart website.

After you’ve signed up, turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or add a four-digit passcode to quickly log in without needing to use your MyChart username and password each time. Then, be sure you have push notifications enabled to receive updates on your device when new information is available.
